Sunshine Coast couple gets lost wallet back thanks to Good Samaritan

North Vancouver RCMP say a Good Samaritan may have saved Christmas for a Sunshine Coast couple.

In what police call “an honest, heartfelt action” the North Van woman handed over a wallet found in the parking lot of a Lonsdale Ave restaurant on Monday evening.  It contained ID, credit cards and $850.00 cash.

Police got in touch with the owners right away to return the wallet, and let them know how it was found.  This person definitely deserves to be on the NICE list this Christmas season,  says Cpl. Richard De Jong, who adds the woman turned down the offer of a reward.
