Volunteers in Roberts Creek will be picking up litter in the neighbourhood from Sunday until May 18th.
The cleanup kicks off at the Earth Day celebration at the pier in Roberts Creek that goes from noon to 5.
A large laminated map of the area will be displayed at the Roberts Creek Community Association booth and as volunteers sign up those sections will be marked off.
The goal is to match volunteers with every road and street from the cemetery to the provincial campsite.
When volunteers sign up to pick up the litter, they will be given garbage bags and SCRD garbage tags for curbside pickup on their regular garbage day.
