A private search company says the bodies of 3 young men killed in a canoeing accident on Slocan Lake — including one from Gibsons and one with close ties to Nanaimo — have been located.
21 year old Hayden Kyle and 18 year old Skye Donnet along with 2 others died on May 10th, but only one victim was recovered.
RCMP Sgt Darryl Little says Ralston and Associates spotted the bodies Monday in about 150 meters of water.
The company was brought in by the families of the victims after the formal search was called off.
