A motorcyclist has died following a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 19A near Norwell Road and Jingle Pot Road in Nanaimo.
Two vehicles and the motorcycle collided at the intersection around noon today.
The drivers of the two motor vehicles involved were transported to a local hospital by paramedics with minor injuries and for precaution only.
The BC Coroners Service has been advised and is attending, along with an RCMP Traffic Analyst.
Traffic delays are expected for some time and motorists are being asked to avoid the area if at all possible.
