NDP Leader Tom Mulcair is on a tour of British Columbia that will take him to Nanaimo on Thursday, May 21.
Mulcair will be in Port Alberni on Wednesday evening before heading to Parksville  on Thursday morning for a meet-and-greet at Bayside Bistro & Lounge at 10:00am.
Then at 12:00pm, Mulcair is taking part in a town hall style event called “Standing Up for Our Veterans” at the Coast Bastion Hotel. Nanaimo-Cowichan MP Jean Crowder says she’ll be there, along with MP Peter Stoffer, the official opposition critic for Veterans Affairs.
Crowder says everyone is invited to attend the town hall and they know many veterans and their families will be there.
Mulcair will be visiting Coquitlam and Surrey on Friday, and Vancouver and Burnaby on Saturday.
