City Culture and Heritage Planner Chris Barfoot says artists and performers are going to be taking over over under-used areas of Nanaimo to create temporary art installations.
Friday between 10 and 3 it’s the sidewalk in front of the Great National Land Building on Church Street.
Barfoot says it’s an innovative way to liven up Nanaimo and he hopes it will get people talking, and thinking about how to do the same in other areas of the city.
