The snow is coming down.
The Sunshine Coast could see 5 to 10 cm of snow by the end of today and parts of Vancouver Island could get up to 15 cm.
The snowfall should slow down by tomorrow morning.
However, Environment Canada expects temperatures will be 5 to 10 degrees below the seasonal average during the next week and more snowfall is possible later on in the week.
Drivers are being asked to be cautious as travel conditions deteriorate and change quickly.
