The Grathams Wharfs Association is looking to rebuild their wharf.

The wharf was destroyed after a big storm and community members are looking to raise funds to help out with the rebuilding costs.

Bjorn Enga with the association says it won’t be a cheap project.

“We’re basically looking at a 30 to $50,000 budget to rebuild it,” said Enga.”

“Our community association has about 60 households so we’re going to need some help. We’ve been working and building the wharf for the last eight years and it would be a tragedy to lose it.”

Enga adds it’s a popular and well-used wharf and its an important piece of the community.
