Christmas tree shredding available

You can support the Nanaimo SPCA and get rid of your Christmas tree at the same time.

Trees will be chipped tomorrow (Sat) and Sunday from 11 to 3 at the Brooks Landing Parking Lot with the proceeds going to help, the more than, 1200 abused, neglected and abandoned animals the Society takes in annually.

The cost is “by donation”.

On the Sunshine Coast, for a minimum donation of ten dollars, you can get your Christmas tree chipped at Elphinstone Secondary School.

The tree chipping goes from 10 to 3 Sunday.

Proceeds will support the Elphinstone graduating class.

They’ll also take any bottles and can you might want to donate.
