Everything should be back to normal on Russell Road by the end of this week.
The strong winds and rain did some damage on the Sunshine Coast and left a big trench in Russell Road.
Tyler Lambert with Capilano Highways says they’ve been busy with the storm cleanups over the last few days.
“Most of the areas have been cleaned up now, with the exception of Russell Road,” said Lambert.
“We also had to take care of sections of Reed Road, parts of the Langdale bypass and Lower Road. We hope to have some culvert upgrades and fully open Russell Road by the end of Thursday.”

Lambert also wants to remind property owners they are responsible for taking care of their own driveway culverts.He says they try and get to them as fast as they can but it would be great if people could get out and keep their driveway culverts clear.
