Nanaimo RCMP’s new tactical armoured vehicle will be on display at the detachment’s open house Saturday, and it’s expected to be a real attention grabber
Constable Gary O’Brien they’re excited to show off their new equipment, which also includes some motorcycles and a recently renovated cell block.  There are also activities for kids and a Crime Stoppers BBQ.
O’Brien says this is their first open house in several years.
The Open House runs from 10-2pm at the detachment on Prideaux Street.
