Nanaimo RCMP is hoping someone locates a stolen one-of-a-kind hockey bag.

Mounties say it was stolen from a vehicle in a parking lot in the 100 block of Wall Street last Thursday between midnight and 9:45 the next morning.

Police say the owner of the vehicle, a student at Vancouver Island University, told investigators several psychology textbooks and his HP laptop were taken but the one item he was most distressed over losing was his hockey gear and bag.

The has a logo of an Indian Chief on the outside, it’s black, yellow and white and had Bauer and Easton hockey gear inside.
