It’s farmers market season in the province and in a lot of places Friday is market day; and starting next week Gibsons will join the list.
May 16th is opening day for the a farmers market at the Gibsons Public Market.
Celia Robben is managing the Gibsons Farmers Market. She says they chose Fridays to avoid conflicts with other markets, and she also says they’ve been getting interest from small producers who are just getting established in the area
Work continues on getting the Gibsons Public Market building in shape after its purchase late last year by a not-for-profit group, but the building has already hosted special events, including a Town Council meeting.
