A Nanaimo business has delivered a very special Christmas gift to a local family.
Nanaimo Precast reached out to the Child Development Centre, to see who they could help this Christmas.
The CDC told them about Nathan Bull, a 2 and a half year old in a wheelchair whose family was relying on a makeshift wooden ramp in front of their home. President AJ Hustens says they created a new concrete ramp for the family, and delivered it with their crane truck Friday morning, in the midst of that snowstorm, as a way of giving back.
Hustens says he hopes other businesses will consider doing something to help others in the community around the holiday season.
