Bike to work week has been replaced by a new program called GoByBike Weeks.
The program got underway in Nanaimo today and runs until the 29th.
Residents are invited to ride their bikes around Nanaimo to connect with other cyclists, take advantage of bike-focused promotions, and visit places and events in the community.
The City and local businesses are hosting five “Celebration Stations” on bike routes around Nanaimo and they’ll be in familiar as well as new and unexpected places this year.
The big prize this year is a trip to Italy.
