John Horgan is the new leader of the BC NDP. He was the only one to put his name forward to replace outgoing leader Adrian Dix. Nanaimo NDP MLA Leonard Krog says that’s because everyone knew Horgan was the best person for the job.
Powell River – Sunshine Coast MLA Nicholas Simons says he’s confident Horgan is up to the challenge.
Horgan will be inaugurated as leader Sunday afternoon in Vancouver.
