Instead of biking down the big hill of School Road, cyclists in Gibsons could have other options in the future if they’re looking to get to Lower Gibsons.
Dave Newman says the work for a new bike lane and multi-use path going to Upper Gibsons on Gibsons Way is almost complete and now they want to complete the project and offer residents other options for going downhill.
Newman says the project could include improvement on North Fletcher road and the intersection of North Fletcher and School Road.
Newman says cyclists will have the option to use Helen’s Way but this would be more of a commuter route
