Greyhound Canada is cutting service in Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and B.C.
However, the move is not expected to have a major impact on the Sunshine Coast or Vancouver Island.
Tofino Bus’ Darcy Lefebvre said without Greyhound as a third party, the Island-based company will have more freedom to transfer freight for customers.
Greyhound’s cuts will come into effect October 31st.
