April 28th is the Workers Day of Mourning, and labour councils in our area have events planned to remember those killed and injured on the job.
The Sunshine Coast Labour Council memorial is 11am in Dougal Park in Gibsons.
The Naniamo Duncan and District Labour Council is holding a ceremony at 1pm at Pioneer Plaza.
