At around 7:30 last night, RCMP responded to a stabbing at Nanaimo’s tent city.
Constable Gary O’Brien explains what happened.
O’Brien says it’s not surprising that there are some incidents at tent city, but police are monitoring the area regularly.
The victim was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries and O’Brien says anyone with information is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345.
