Sunshine Coast RCMP looks for more information after incident near West Sechelt Elementary

Sunshine Coast RCMP have located the vehicle involved in an incident at West Sechelt Elementary.

A student was approached by two men in a car earlier today (Tuesday, June 19th).

Mounties are not saying why the student was approached, but are saying there was nothing criminal in nature about the incident and the investigation has concluded.

A staff member from the school told police one of their students was walking to school this morning and two men in a four-door red sedan with scratches on the lower panels stopped and asked the student to get into their car.

The student refused and made their way to the school.

Mounties are looking for the public to provide more information as a student from West Sechelt Elementary was approached by two men in a car earlier today. (Tuesday, June 19th)

Mounties say they got a call from the school today alerting them of the incident that happened around 8:30.

A staff member from the school told police one of their students was walking to school this morning and two men in a four-door red sedan with scratches on the lower panels stopped and asked the student to get into their car.

The student refused and made their way to the school.

The two men in the car are described as white, between the age of 20-30 years old, both bald with brown beards and one had a “bushy” beard.
