There are many ways to get rid of your old electronics or furniture but some people don’t seem to understand or care.
Robyn Cooper with the SCRD says they’re launching a campaign to encourage the public to report illegal dumping activities and to raise awareness about how harmful it is to the community.
Cooper says a majority of those illegally dumped items can be disposed of safely and responsibly at low-cost or for free in Sechelt Gibsons or Pender Harbour.
