Analysts say gas prices couldĀ hit a three-year high today with a litre of regular going for, on average, 22-cents more than a year ago.
It’s following a trend in crude oil prices, which have gone from around 91 dollars a barrel last April to 112 dollars.
Locally, Nanaimo is seeing prices from $1.39-4 to $1.41-9 for a litre of regular.Ā On the Sunshine Coast prices are running from $1.40-9 to $1.46-9
The same analysts predicting a big spike this week are also saying prices will fall by summer.
