The throne speech indicated the NDP planned to work on housing issues, childcare, marijuana legislation, electoral reform and issues surrounding ICBC among others.
The session has ended now and Nanaimo’s Leonard Krog says they had some successes but more work needs to be done…..
Krog says many residents were happy to see the MSP premiums eliminated and he knows businesses are concerned about that.
Powell River-Sunshine Coast MLA Nic Simons says it’s been a year since the NDP and Green Party started working together to make improvements in the province.
He figures the coalition has done a good job so far….
