The Nanaimo Recycling Exchange is looking to share their business plan with the public.
Two open houses have been planned ahead of the N-R-E sharing the plan with Nanaimo City Council on June 11th.
N-R-E vice chair, Ben Geselbracht says the plan still calls for just over 6 million dollars in public investment….
The proposed new facility would be a hub for zero waste education, outreach, research and advocacy, and a place to develop programs for re-use and repair.
The public sessions will both take place at the Beban Park Social Centre on Bowen Road.
The first is tomorrow (Sat) from 10 to noon and another is set for the following Wednesday from 7 to 9.
