The Sunshine Coast Regional Economic Development Organization is promoting a new campaign called victory suites.
The idea is to encourage homeowners with extra space in their houses to rent it out.
Chris Hergeshiemer says this is their attempt to tackle the housing crisis on the Sunshine Coast.
Hergeshiemer says homeowners can help and make a difference and is encouraging them to reach out if they have any questions.
