Tracy Samra, Nanaimo’s Chief Administration Officer, was to appear in court tomorrow (Tues, May 15th) but her appearance has been delayed again.
It’s the fourth time there’s been a delay.
This time it’s set for June 5th.
Her court appearance stems from an incident late January when Samra was arrested for uttering threats.
The B.C. Prosecution Service is seeking to have Samra bound to conditions of a peace bond.
She’s been on paid leave since the January incident and the City is now looking to hire an interim C-A-O as a result of her absence.
