The SCRD Area A Representative won’t be running again in the election.
Frank Mauro who has represented the Pender Harbour community for over seven years now is looking to spend more time with his family.
Mauro says it has been a rewarding experience and notes the decision wasn’t easy.
Mauro says he’s proud of the accomplishment he was able to achieve during those seven years and plans to stay active in the community until someone else gets elected in November.
SCRD Directors Ian Winn and Mark Labell have also indicated they won’t be seeking reelection as well.
