A medical marijuana producer operating out of Nanaimo is recalling some of their pot. Greenleaf Medicinals is voluntarily recalling a batch of Purple Kush (PK-10-20-13).
The recall was prompted by issues with the company’s production practices, which were discovered during an inspection by Health Canada and could impact the product.
Greenleaf Medicinals is telling clients to immediately stop using any marijuana from this shipment. The company has also told Health Canada that they are working with other licensed producers to find a supply of marijuana for the impacted clients. Health Canada is monitoring Greenleaf Medicinal’s recall.
Greenleaf uses a Nanaimo address for customer service, but its registered head office is in a Duncan industrial park.
