Burnco waits for green light from the Federal Government

The province has given Burnco the okay for their aggregate mine proposal on the Sunshine Coast, but they still have to get approval from the feds.

MP the West Vancouver-Sea to Sky Country-Sunshine Coast Pam Goldsmith-Jones says the green light from the BC government reflects quite strongly on the Squamish Nation’s support for the project as well.

And that makes a powerful statement in her opinion.

If the project goes forward, it could produce up to 1.6 million tonnes of aggregate per year.
