The court date for Nanaimo’s Chief Administrative Officer has been moved to May 1st.
A B.C. special prosecutor is seeking a peace bond for Tracy Samra.
The application for a peace bond relates to an incident at City Hall in Nanaimo which resulted in the arrest of Samra as a result of allegations of uttering threats.
According to court documents the incident involves, not only Mayor Bill McKay and councillors Sheryl Armstrong and Dianne Brennan, but a number of city staffers and some former employees of City Hall.
Samra has been on paid leave since the incident.
