A woman is recovering at Vancouver General Hospital, after crashing her car on a Forest Service Road in Roberts Creek.
It happened just before noon on Tuesday on the the logging road near Largo.
Sunshine Coast RCMP say it looks as though she lost control of the car while headed downhill and veered off the road, hitting a tree.  They’re looking at speed as a possible factor.
The woman was brought down by ambulance crews and transferred to a waiting helicopter at Cliff Gilker Park.
The incident is still under investigation.
