Hints about plans to increase student housing on campuses throughout the province in the throne speech were good news for VIU.
Carol Desilets, Director of Ancillary Services for V-I-U says there’s a definite need for more housing at the Nanaimo campus….
As it stands, Desilets says students, that apply to attend the Nanaimo campus before May 1st are guaranteed on-campus housing for the first year of their studies.
There are currently 536 beds on campus.
