The countdown is on to the B.C. Summer GamesĀ in Nanaimo. The Torchlighting Ceremony is happening this evening at Maffeo Sutton Park at 7:00pm.
Organizer Arlene Blundell says with just 97 days until the games begin, they’re working hard to recruit volunteers.
She says anyone wanting to register can sign up tonight. The BC Summer Games are taking place in Nanaimo from July 17-20, 2014.
