Sechelt residents are speaking out about some logging activity happening in Sandy Hook.
The District of Sechelt is also concerned about the project happening in the residential area, but not much can be done from their point of view.
Doug Stewart says the property owners were able to obtain a Managed Forest Commitment with the province so the local government has no authority.
Stewart says from the District’s point of view, they share the same concern as local residents due to the increased traffic in the area as well as the potential for mudslides.
