The drama continues to unfold at Nanaimo City Hall.
Last week Council held an in-camera meeting where the majority agreed to accept the Goldner Report and in relation to that, both Councillor Diane Brennan and Mayor Bill McKay were handed sanctions.
Both McKay and Brennan are to apologize to the City’s CAO, Tracy Samra and both are to attend training courses.
Brennan has since put out a statement….
Brennan believes the censure hearings are biased and politically motived and the public release of the Goldner report would prove that.
Council received the report in a closed door meeting last July from Roslyn Goldner, a consultant hired by the City of Nanaimo to investigate workplace complaints made by the City’s CAO.
