RCMP have arrested one man following a violent home invasion on the weekend.
Mounties are still looking for other suspects following the home invasion Sunday that sent three men to hospital.
A 19 year old man was arrested at a south Nanaimo home for break and enter, assault with a weapon and disguise with intent.
Police say they want to reassure the public the home invasion was the result of an ongoing dispute between a group of young adult men, and is in no way connected to a fatal shooting that happened on Saturday.
RCMP say the home invasion is not connected to the drug trade or organized crime in Nanaimo or elsewhere.
