The premier has made one major decision on our behalf and is facing another big one.
John Horgan elected to go ahead with the Site C project and now he’s facing whether or not to renew the tenure for fishing farms on our coast.
Alexandra Morton, of the Pacific Coast Wild Salmon Society says those tenures expire in June.
She says Horgan needs to consider wilderness tourism is twice as lucrative in B.C……….
She says governments can’t turn a blind eye to the science of the damage done by fish farming in our part of the ocean.
Morton says the alternative is land based fish farming.
