The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in a car crash in Duncan on April 6, 2014.
He was Zakkaree Tharren Mikey Coss, 22, of Port Alberni. Coss was the front-seat passenger in a car that was travelling northbound on Highway 1 in Duncan around 8:00am when, at the intersection of Bench Road, the car left the highway and hit a power pole. Coss died at the scene.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP Traffic Services are still investigating this death.
The victim’s family has been notified and is asking for privacy.
