Sunshine Coast residents could be out of pocket more money if they don’t obey the bylaws with the Sunshine Coast Regional District.
Angie Legault, Senior Manager with the RD says once their bylaws are changed dog regulation fines will double, zoning bylaw contraventions will increase to $150 and a $150 for disorderly conduct in a park.
However, the fines won’t be handed down immediately if you do break a bylaw.
Some of these fines have been in place since the mid 90’s and could go into place for the new year.
