Griffith says the number of women coming into the shelter is also up from 18 per cent last year to 30 per cent this season so far.
Griffith says they are finding people are more generous this year too with a local trucking company donating cash and coasts for the homeless…..
Griffith says the shelter could really use some donations of socks, mens’ underwear, sweat pants and jackets for the cold weather.
