The Town of Gibsons and its Fire Department is encouraging everyone to check in with them if you have or want to build a secondary suite.
Chest Machniewski says there were a couple of close calls recently and they want to help homeowners make their suites safe.
A building inspection can be found and filled out online on the town’s website.
