Some much needed child care spaces are coming to the Sunshine Coast and Nanaimo regions.
The province has handed outĀ just overĀ 635,000 dollars for 48 new spaces in Nanaimo.
On the Sunshine Coast, in Sechelt, the The Mountainview Court Services Society is getting half a million dollars to create 72 spaces and the Bowen Children’s Centre Society is getting just over 67,000 dollars to create eight infant and toddler spaces at the Bowen’s Children’s Centre.

More childcare money is also coming to Gabriola where 32 spaces will be developed and the Qualicum First Nation is getting half a million dollars to create 36 spaces.
