Nanaimo RCMP have arrested a 44 year old woman following a stabbing at the Port-O-Call Inn and Suites.
She is facing aggravated assault charges.

The Nanaimo RCMP is investigating a report of a stabbing at the Port-O-Call Inn and Suites.
Police received multiple 911 calls from witnesses who reported a fight of some sort in one of the rooms of the motel around 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon.
Upon arrival police found a 55 year old man bleeding from an upper body injury.
He was treated for non life threatening injuries and taken to hospital.
The suspect is believed to be a 44 year old woman who had fled before police arrived.
Officers have determined the two parties involved are known to each other and based on this investigators do not believe there is any risk to the public.
Police are still looking for the woman involved in the incident.
