Oceanside RCMP are investigating a stabbing in Bowser.
It happened yesterday (Tues) morning around 6:15.
Police say a 31 year old woman was driving a car with a 22 year old passenger when the pair got into an argument.
The 22 year old man is reported to have produced a knife and stabbed the woman who ran from the car.
She was chased and stabbed several more times while trying to run to safety.
Mounties picked up the suspect at his home about half an hour later.
The victim was taken to the hospital in Nanaimo where she is recovering from serious but not life threatening injuries.
