Missing Great Dane dogs may be in Nanaimo

Nanaimo RCMP is following up on a possible sighting of a Great Dane that was stolen from a home in Cold Lake Alberta 7 weeks ago.
The Great Dane is one of 3 that were taken from the owner’s rural Cold Lake property.
The theft was reported to the Cold Lake RCMP but the owner of the dogs recently got a call from a person who thought they may have seen one of her dogs this past Tuesday at Colliery Dam Park in Nanaimo.
The caller said when the person with the dog was asked about it, they quickly turned and walked away.
The dog spotted at the park, is a two and a half year old brindle and has a microchip.
The two other missing Great Danes are aged 4 and 8 and are both fawn coloured.

Police are asking anyone who may know of the dogs to call the detachment at 250-754-2345. If you wish to remain anonymous contact Crime Stoppers at www.nanaimocrimestoppers.com text 274637, keyword Nanaimo or call 1-800-222-8477.
