The rate of parking at the Langdale terminal could be going up soon.
Diana Mumford, Chair of the South Ferry Advisory Committee says BC Ferries is looking to contract out the parking lot like they have done in other terminals and she expects a rate hike to come along with that decision.
Mumford says there’s nothing more frustrating than when you’re trying to walk on to the ferry and you show up and there’s no parking left for you.
