Weather records fall, but flurries are forecast

There was a round of weather records broken over the weekend as a result of unseasonably warm weather over parts of B.C.
Environment Canada is reporting records were broken in Campbell River, Victoria, and on the south mainland.
A couple of stations were close to their records including on the Sunshine Coast where the mercury was just shy point 2 of the old record of 16 point 5.
There is rain in the forecast for the Sunshine Coast and Nanaimo by midweek and the mercury is expected to dip down to minus 2 with a chance of flurries on Saturday.
