The BC Coroners Service has confirmed the identity of a man who died in hospital after a boating incident at Westwood Lake on April 1, 2014.
Michael Jeffrey Little, aged 63, from Nanaimo was one of two men in a boat that capsized. Emergency crews pulled him from the water and he was airlifted to Victoria General Hospital. Attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
The BC Coroners Service is still investigating. Little’s family has been notified of his death and is asking for privacy.
