The Gibsons Senior Society got some good news from the provincial Minister of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development.
The Society’s Lee Ann Johnson says they got a 10,000 dollar grant to do a feasibility study to determine whether or not a professional led, volunteer run, daily lunch program at Harmony Hall would work…..
Johnson says a daily lunch program would help keep seniors in the community connected…..
Johnson says they’ve got a team assembled who will do the study and she hopes it will be finished by the end of the year.
